Storybook Collection

Once upon a time there was a brand new release from Elizabeth Craft Designs! Yes you are reading that correctly, there is a brand new release from ECD, the Storybook Collection.

Today, I am playing with the brand new Castle Folding Card and showing off just fun this new card frame die is.

Step One: Blend three shades of ink onto some 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock. I used Broken China, Peacock Feather, and Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink. Die cut the inked cardstock using the Way With Words Once Upon A Time die set.

Step Two: Die cut the new Castle Folding Card out of 110lb Soft Finish Cardstock. Score and fold the card frame.

Step Three: Blend ink around the edges of the front of the card frame. I used Tattered Rose Distress Ink.

Step Four: Die cut the Castle Fold Card accessories out of 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock.

Step Five: Blend ink over the die cut pieces. I used Brushed Corduroy and Scattered Straw Distress Ink, focusing on the heaviest application over the edges and a lighter hand in the middle.

Step Six: Using Kids Choice Glue, adhere the accessories onto the card frame.

Step Seven: Adhere using Kids Choice Glue adhere the sentiment die cut to the front of the card. Apply a high shine adhesive to the top of the sentiment die cut. I used Glossy Accents.

I just love how the old sentient die pairs so beautifully with the new Castle Folding Card. I love that if you add a birthday sentiment or welcome baby sentiment stamped inside you have a card that can serve many different functions.

Make sure you pop over to Elizabeth Craft Designs to check out the whole collection. And be certain to pop back here all week where I will be sharing different projects using this new Storybook collection. Until then, happy crafting!
