WRC January Mood Board

With the start of the new Year, White Rose Crafts has decided to launch a brand new challenge.  This year WRC is going to be hosting a monthly moodboard challenge.  All the details can be found over at WRC blog.

EK Gorman, White Rose Crafts, January Moodboard aI created a card to celebrate this new challenge, using a couple of different stamp sets.

IMG_E8306I started by stamping the Woodware Love in a Box stamp set with some VersaMark Watermark ink, and coating it in Ranger Rose Gold embossing powder.

IMG_E8307After heat setting the embossing ink, I stamped snowflakes onto the cardstock using the Dovecrafts Snowflakes stamp set in both Tumbled Glass and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide.  Then using the Hazy Mauves Nuvo Creative Pens, I started coloring in bits of the embossed image.

EK Gorman, White Rose Crafts, January Moodboard bI card get distressed with a little more Distress Oxide in Victorian Velvet and matted onto some Aspire Juniper Berry Cardstock.  The card was finished with a sentiment from the Snowflakes stamp set.

EK Gorman, White Rose Crafts, January Moodboard c Make sure you load up your project to the White Rose Crafts photo Gallery for your chance to win a $15 WRC gift card.  I can’t wait to find out how you play with this month’s moodboard challenge.  Until then, Happy Crafting.
