There is a very special challenge over at Cupcake Inspiration Challenge, because we have joined together with another challenge group, Double Trouble Challenge.
So with two separate groups coming together, we have two separate themes this week. First, our theme here at CIC is Woodland Creatures, so add any type of woodland creature. The team over at Double Trouble Challenge is encouraging your to add some woodgrain to your project.
Additionally we are sponsored this week by Stamplorations who is offering a $20 gift code to one random participant.
With all that in mind, I pulled out a woodgrain stamp from My Favorite Things and stamped in some Scrapberry Brown pigment the background. I die cut the background and edged the paper with the same pigment ink. I then adhered the background to an A2 card.
To get my woodland creatures onto the card, I pulled out a fun stamp set from Kindred Spirits and stamped some of the critters from the Hundred Acre Woods. I stamped them out in alcohol friendly ink and then colored them in with my copic markers. I fussy cut out the friends and adhered them to the card, letting the little bear pop up with some three dimensional tape.
I can not wait to see how you play with this week’s challenge. Until then, happy crafting!!!
Love your stamped woodgrain background and adorable group of woodland critters. Great coloring and fun and adorable card. Love that you used Trouble Maker’s challenge “Let’s Get Groovy” for your woodland critter project and would love you to share you DT card with us. Thanks for your support in partnering with us at Double Trouble and hope that you will join us for future fun challenges.
