Looking Like a Troll

In my vain attempt to keep up with my new year resolutions of starting crafting for me again, which includes doing craft challenges, I am back today with a couple of cards.

The first card today is brought to you by one that is a little new to me, the Crafter’s Cafe Challenge, where the theme is “Layer it Up”.

I wanted to create this fun snarky card using the Funny bones sentiment.  It took me a while to find a image that worked with the sentiment, but I sort of feel this one from Art Impressions really does the trick, and I did a little no line coloring with my zig clean color markers.  I layered layers of white cardstock over purple cardstock and stacked it all over each other.  I finished the card off with some nuvo drops.ekgorman crafter cafe 211

I pulled out this fun girlfriends stamp set from AI and a different sentiment from a different AI set and thought they worked perfectly together. I colored the image in with my copics and pulled a bunch of papers together to finish the card.

My final project features a Your Next Stamp Challenge where they want to see smiles.

I stamped out this Your Next Stamp image onto some cardstock and colored it up with my copics.  I fussy cut out the image and then die cut some white cardstock with a retiring/retired YNS die and shaded with copic markers.  I created the background with my distress oxides.

Thanks for peeking in today and looking at my cards.
