There is a new theme challenge up over at Kitty Bee Designs by weekly challenge group, Aloha Friday.

Today we start a new theme challenge, featuring the theme “In the Garden”.  What does that mean, well, simply we are looking for things you would find in the garden, such as flowers, but also things like Gnomes, Bees, Butterflies, and well, frankly, gardens.

There are two wonderful digi stamp company sponsoring the challenge this week, both of which are offering a prize to a random participant.

Sweet Escape Digis 

I decided to play with one of the digital stamps from Sweet Escape Digis and used the super cute Fairy and Baby Unicorn.

I decided to experiment today with my project.  I printed out the digi onto some card stock, but wanted to do a little work with watercolor pencils.  I know the paper doesn’t take to water well, so I played with my Wink of Stella glitter pen to move around the Derwent colored pencils.

I love the sparkle that they Wink of Stella gave the project, and will totally try this technique again.
