There is a new challenge up and running over at Kitty Bee Designs bi weekly challenge group Aloha Friday.  This week there is a Fairytale/Fantasy theme going on, so pull out those dragons, witches, and fairies and get coloring!!!

I am playing today with an digi image from Mmedel Illustrations called Witch.  I figured witches come up in all kinds of Fairytales, so this image was perfect for the current theme!

I printed the image out and started coloring it in with my copic markers.  I don’t know why orange, green and purple are considered halloween colors, but they are, so I colored the witch in with a combination of those colors.

I really wanted to build a witch’s hearth, so I built a cauldron and a fireplace…the fireplace didn’t quite work out, but I know what I did that went wrong…starting with not pulling up an image to work off with.  I pulled out a sentiment stamp from Craftin Desert Divas and added it to the stamp.  I trimmed the image up and matted it with black card stock and added some pretty halloween printed cardstock behind everything.

I can’t wait to see what Fairytale or fantasy card you make with this theme!!!
