Have you seen the new Beautiful Blooms line of stamps and dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs? If not you are missing out on a stunning collection of stamps and coordinating dies that are perfect for any colorists heart. Today I have pulled out the Beautiful Blooms -Kindness stamp and die set to create this yellow themed card.
Step One: On a piece of trimmed Watercolor Paper, scribble three different tones of the same color of Gelatos. I used Butterscotch, Banana and Butter Cream.
Step Two: Using your finger, blend out the water-soluble cream.
Step Three: Stamp out the large floral image from the Beautiful Blooms -Kindness stamp onto a piece of trimmed 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock using copic friendly ink.
Step Four: Using copic markers color in the image. Die cut the flower using the coordinating Kindness die set.
Step Five: Die cut the background using the Stitched Indented Rectangle die set. Adhere to a trimmed piece of black cardstock using 10mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive. Adhere both to an A2 card frame. You can see here where I tried to leave a ‘stamped’ shadow of the image onto the Gelatos using just clean water. In the end I decided that the colors were too light to be effective.
Step Six: Stamp a second image and a sentiment onto a scrap piece of 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock. Die cut the stamped images.
Step Seven: Using liquid adhesive, adhere the images to the card.
Step Eight: Finish the card by adding both Pearl Olive and Transparent Crystal Craft Drops to the center of the large flowers and onto the uncolored image.
