Hey Friends! I am playing around with a bit of left over scrap and managed to turn it into one of my favorite cards in a long time.
A handful of months ago I was doing a Facebook Live with White Rose Crafts and created this image using Distress Oxide Refillers, my Gel Plate, and this amazing stamp from AALL & Create. I had stamped the Blooming Heart stamp set onto watercolor paper. Then I dripped Refiller ink onto a gel plate and smeared the ink over the image. In the playing around, I also used some Ranger Perfect Pearls over different elements of the image.
To enhance the image, I stamped the Blooming Heart image again. Then I fussy cut out roses and a sentiment to add back onto the main image using three dimensional tape.
Onto the roses I smeared some Golden Acrylic Glass Beads Gel that I picked up in my big box store. This gel will dry clear creating a very cool effect.
To enhance the leaves I pulled out a watercolor and color the leaves a bold green. To create a little more visual interest, I added molding paste through the AALL & Create Cracked Walls 2 stencil.
It is amazing how simple this card was to make, and yet how visual impactful. What do you think? Let me know in the comments below! Until then, happy crafting.
This is not just a card. This is art!
