So White Rose Crafts is running some mini challenges durning this strange and crazy time. The challenges were created due to the fact so many crafters are feeling blocked or unmotivated right now. Want to join in on this fun challenge, then pop over and share your project in the White Rose Crafts Facebook Gallery.
This first mini challenge centers around Ink Splatters and Stencils. I created four different cards to show case the same inking techniques and how different inks can create very different looks. I love how each card looks so different, and yet the inking technique is the same.

All four cards started with a piece of Canson XL 140lb cold press Watercolor Paper and sprayed with Distress Resist Spray.
Card One
Card one was created using Distress Inks in Cracked Pistachio, Scattered Straw, and Tumbled Glass as the base for the card. I then sprayed some Distress Ink Spray in Iced Spruce through a Studio Light stencil. The card was finished with a Woodware UK Happy Easter stamp set image adhered to the card.
Card Two
Card two was created using Distress Oxides in Dusty Concord, Pumice Stone, and Shaded Lilac. Then I used a Distress Oxide Spray in Wilted Violet and sprayed it through the Kaistercraft Grunge stencil. To finish the card I added two Lawn Fawn Easter Party stamp set images and sentiment.
Card Three
Card three’s base was created using Scrapberry Stains Ink in Blue, Pink, and Purple. I then blended some Scrapberry Stains Ink in Black through the AALL & Create Cracked Walls 2 stencil. To finish the card I added three images and sentiment from the Craft Consortium Harry the Hedgehog stamp set.
Card Four
The Forth card was created with Make Art Blendable Dye Ink in Fern Green, Sunshine and Watercan. Then I pushed Nuvo Expanding Mousse in Worn Linen through the Kaisercraft Designer Template Criss Cross. The card was finished with an image from the Craft Consortium Kingfisher stamp set and a sentiment from Couture Creations All You Have to Do sentiment stamp.
Make sure you pop over and join in on the Mini Three Day Challenge. There is no prize, but hopefully lots of motivation during this strange time.
Absolutely stunning cards!
