Oceans of Joy

EK Gorman, Elizabeth Craft Designs, Treasure aDid you catch the brand Underwater Collection die and stamp release from Elizabeth Craft Designs last week?  The whole collection is ocean and water themed, so if you are dreaming of swimming in the ocean, there are a few dies and stamps just for you.

Today I pulled out the new Sea Weed die and Diving Accessories die to create this fun underwater scene.

IMG_E8473Step One: Die cut the Sea Weed die set pieces out of 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock.

IMG_E8502Step Two:  Using alcohol markers, color in the die cut pieces.

IMG_E8512Step Three:  Trim a piece of Dusky Sky Soft Finish Cardstock to 12×6 inches and score and fold the piece to make a 6×6 card frame.  Die cut a piece of Dove Gray Soft Finish Cardstock using the Stitched Hexagons die set.

IMG_E8513Step Four:  Using alcohol markers, color the hexagon piece of cardstock like and ocean scene.  Using a white gel pen add bubbles.

IMG_E8514Step Five:  Using some 6mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive and Kids Choice Glue, adhere both the Stitched Hexagons piece and the Sea Weed pieces to the card frame.

IMG_E8515Step Six:  The card felt a little empty, so I pulled out the new Diving Accessories die set and die cut the two fish out of 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock.

IMG_E8517Step Seven:  Color the fish with alcohol markers.

IMG_E8518Step Eight:  Adhere the fish to the card frame.

IMG_E8519Step Nine:  Using some blue ink, stamp the sentiment onto the card using the new Splish Splash Sentiments stamp set.

EK Gorman, Elizabeth Craft Designs, Treasure bI hope you are as excited as I am about this swimmingly fun new collection.

EK Gorman, Elizabeth Craft Designs, Treasure cI have a couple more projects featuring the new release, so make sure you peek in for more fun!  Until then, Happy Crafting!
