Quick Flower Garden

EK Gorman, Elizabeth Craft Designs, Flower Garden aSo I needed a quick card for a gardener friend of mine.  The key work here was quick.  I needed something fast, but didn’t want to lose the beauty of a floral garden card.  So I pulled out Joset’s Color my Flowers stamp set and some watercolor paints.

IMG_6997Step One:  Stamp out the floral images onto some Watercolor paper using watercolor friendly ink.

IMG_6998Step Two:  Watercolor the images.  I used my metallic watercolor paints for this project.

IMG_6999Step Three:  Using the coordinating Color My Flowers die set, die cut the images.

IMG_7020Step Four:  Die cut a hexagon from the Hexagons die set from a piece of printed paper in the Relax in the Garden paper pack.  Adhere the hexagon to the an A2 card frame using some 10mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive.  Trim off any paper the hangs over the edge.

IMG_7021Step Five:  Add the die cut flowers and leaves onto the card overlapping each other.
