So, I have a friend who needs a little pick me up, so I sat down to make her a thinking about you card. She is one of those friends who’s heart at times is bigger than her head, so she goes above and beyond to help people she loves. She is totally the sunshine in so many people’s day, and I thought it might be a nice to make her a card sharing who I think she is.
I started by stamping out the Row Houses stamp set onto some of ECD’s watercolor paper using waterproof ink. I masked the center house so that the two homes on the side could be laid stamped ‘under’ and the scene would look realistic.
I then watercolored the image using my Inktense pencils. I went with a stormy cloud palette trying to make a slightly moody.
I then die cut the image using the Dashing Squares die set.
I also die cut a piece of the Thinking About- Grand Canyon printed paper using the Dashing Rectangles die set.
I adhered both the printed paper and the stamped image onto an A2 card frame using some Clear Double Sided adhesive. I also stamped my sentiment onto the printed paper using the Little Words That Mean a Lot stamp set.
I finished the card off with a bit of Nuvo drops to add a bit of ‘bling’ and called the card done.
Let me know in the comments below how you celebrate those that give too much of themselves. Until then, Happy Crafting.
EK, this is so pretty. It’s always nice to have a friend who thinks about you in bad and good times. Giving the kind heart she has she will be overwhelmed with joy for your kindness you are sharing.
