Today I am playing around with some die cuts to create this bit of safari adventure with the super cute monkey!
I started by die cutting out all the pieces of the Safari Jeep and then pulled out my copic markers to color in the truck. I adhered all the pieces together using some Kids Choice Glue.
I then die cut and colored up the Monkey die set leaving off the legs and feet knowing our little friend would be sitting in the jeep. I adhere bits of him together but waited to place all of him assembled with I placed him in the car.
I also die cut out and colored some of the Safari Accessories. I adhered bits of it together, waiting to finish it when I placed it in the jeep.
I die cut a square frame out of some Spring Green Soft Finish Cardstock from the Garden Notes- Frame It/Stitched Squares. I also created a 6×6 card frame out some 12×12 White Soft Finish Cardstock, and blended a little Frayed Burlap onto the white cardstock.
I adhered the jeep, monkey and accessories into the jeep, and stamped a sentiment onto the card from the Safari Sayings stamp set.
I was going to leave the card like this, but it seemed a little empty and dull. So I pulled out the Jungle Leaves die set and Tropical Florals die set and added a few bits to jazz up the project.
I think the added foliage really finished the card off nicely. I am so excited to be sharing this on today. I think it is just fun.
Be sure to hop over to my friend Alicia‘s Blog. You won’t be disappointed.
And feel free to scroll to the bottom of my page for a full list of the supplies I used today. Until then, Happy Crafting.
Here’s our line up in case you get lost along the way.
I love how you colored the diecuts. You really brought them to life.

You did a fantastic job with the die cuts and coloring. I’m not that good at coloring so I can appreciate those, like you, that are talented with Copics. Very cute card.
