There is a brand new sketch challenge over at White Rose Crafts Facebook Gallery. All you need to do to enter this fun monthly challenge is come up with a project (and we mean any kind project) and load it into the June Sketch Challenge folder on the WRC Facebook Gallery.
Today I have my own interpretation of this months sketch using this month’s optional theme of Summer/Patriotism.
I pulled out some ScrapBerry Zoe’s & Ziggy’s Sailing Adventures paper from the 6×6 paper pack and trimmed it up to match the sketch. Then I stamped out the Prima Seaside stamp set and stamped it in some blue ink, fussy cut it and added it to the project. Finally, using Little Acres Doggone Vacation stamp set, I added a sentiment that I heat embossed with some Ranger White Embossing powder and the sun, which I colored in with my colored pencils. The card felt a little unbalanced, so I added some sequins from the Doodle’s Paper Playground Oceanview Sparkle Blends sequins.
I can’t wait to see how you play with this month’s sketch. Until then, happy crafting!!!
