I started by stamping out the bulldog and the flowers from the set. I colored them in with my copics.
I then die cut it out with the coordinating dies that come in the set.
I then focused on the background. I sketched out the dog house and fence with my pencil. After inking in the lines with a copic friendly pen, I erased all the pencil lines.
I started coloring the fence first, and used the copic markers E30, E31, E33, E35.
The dog house got colored with E13, E17, E19, and E18, while the roof was colored with E47 and E49.
Using a dot technique, I colored the grass with G20, G21, G24, and G29.
Finally I colored the sky with B0000, B000, B00, N0 and N2.
I adhered the die cuts onto the background and added a sentiemnt from the stamp set. Finally I matted the image with some black cardstock and called the card finished.
Thank you for peeking in here today. Be sure to hop over to Shannon’s Blog for the next leg of our hop!
Here’s our line up in case you get lost along the way.

I was going to comment on how cute your pooch is. However, once you explained how you created the doghouse and background, I have to say – “you are “pawsitively” a creative genius. It’s a work of art.
