I Treasure You with Oddball Art

EK Gorman, Oddball Art CCC39 aI am back again to share another Oddball Art project using this week’s digital image included with the weekly Creepy Cute Chronicles.  I thought It might be fun if I took this week’s CCC#39 and an older digi, IMG469 Boo Baby Brides and combine them to make one fun pirate themed card.

EK Gorman, Oddball Art CCC39 dI started by playing with some Distress Resist Spray onto some cardstock and then blended some Distress Oxide over it once it was dried.  I used Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire and Weathered Wood to create this ombre look.  This was literally the first time I used the resist spray, and I have to tell you, I am sort of in love with the idea.

EK Gorman, Oddball Art CCC39 eI then colored the Killer Bride with my copics and fussy cut her out.

EK Gorman, Oddball Art CCC39 fI did the same with images included with this week’s Newsletter Freebies.

EK Gorman, Oddball Art CCC39 gI then played around with different ways to arrange the images, trying to figure out what way showcased them all the best.

EK Gorman, Oddball Art CCC39 bAfter figuring out the best lay out, I adhered them to the background.

EK Gorman, Oddball Art CCC39 cThanks for peeking in tonight, and make sure you check out this week’s Oddball Creepy Cute Chronicles!  Until then, happy crafting.
