There is still time to play with the current challenge over at Kitty Bee Designs Bi-weekly challenge group, Aloha Friday.  The current challenge embraces the Winter Blues and all things centered around winter and snow.

Today I am playing with one of this week’s sponsor, Scribbles Designs’, digital stamp Snowflake Mason Jar.  It seems like the perfect image for this winter blues challenge.

I printed out the digital stamp so it would be a nice and large focal image.  Then using my Kelly Creates Metallic Jewel Brush in silver and blue, I filled in the snowflakes.  The photo doesn’t really show it, but snowflakes are now really reflective due to the markers.

I then filled in the mason jar with blended Distress Inks.  I used tumbled glass and faded jeans.  I stamped out the ‘winter’ sentiment as well and filled it in with blue metallic pen.

Finally, I fussy cut out the image and adhered it over several layers of printed winter themed paper in blue of course.
