Love Story Blog Hop

Welcome Rosies to the January “Love Story” Blog Hop.  You should be coming in from Amber‘s blog, but if you are just popping in here, and want to start from the beginning pop on over to White Rose Crafts Blog.
This month’s hop will Run from today, January 14th- Friday, January 18th at 12pm.

ek gorman, white rose crafts, january add on blog hop aFor my project, I pulled out a couple of the papers from the Love Story Kit, and stamped out the focal images form the Heffy Doodle stamp set Beary Big Heart offered in the Add On List.  Using just a touch of copic markers, I added some shadowing, and then fussy cut out the images from the printed papers.

ek gorman, white rose crafts, january add on blog hop dI filled in the heart of the stamped image with Nuvo Crystal drops in Sherbet Shimmer from the Add On List.  I also adhered some florals included in the kit to the hand of the the other bear.

ek gorman, white rose crafts, january add on blog hop eI also created a shaker feature for the card, using the kit’s included die and ASPIRE specialty cardstock.  I filled the shaker with Doodles Paper Playground Pretty in Pink Sparkle Blends.

ek gorman, white rose crafts, january add on blog hop bI layered papers over each other and added a sentiment from the kit’s included stickers.  I created a pho stitch with my white gel pen.  The gray cardstock that surrounds the die cut heart is from my personal stock, but stamped with the kit’s included stamp set.

  1. Love, love, love this card! And I love the subtle way you’ve used the Nuvo drops: adds a whole new dimension to the heart from the kit’s cutting die!
