It is time for the first color challenge of the new year over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. This week’s colors are a strange holiday combination, but one that works if you think about it. The colors are green and purple.
I pulled out a stamp set form Avery Elle and stamped it out onto some white cardstock. Then using my copics, I colored in the image trying to focus on the green and purple theme. My purple in the end came out more blue violet than I wanted, but alas, I will take what I can get.
I trimmed down the white cardstock and matted it with some purple glitter paper. Then using some green printed holiday paper I created the rest of the card, adding some other glitter accents.
I can’t wait to see how you play with this fun color challenge. Until then, happy crafting.
I like your purple-green festive card :-)) Fantastiv job with this stamp!
Hugs, Andreja

I this image. It’s very traditional but you have added a modern twist. I must practice colouring!
