The first challenge of the new year is up over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge.  Since it is a new year, or first theme challenge is exactly that…something new.  What does that mean?  Well simply, make a project with something new.  A new crafting supply, a new technique, a new goal for the new year.

For my project this week, I pulled out my brand new polychromos colored pencils and the Ballet Shoes Digital Stamp from Sparkle N’ Sprinkle and colored them up.  My husband joked that I was using this image because my new plan for this year was to conquer the world….I don’t think he is funny.

I decided to keep the rest of the card simple and let my new coloring tools and the digital stamp be the star of the show.
