There is still time to play with the current challenge up over at Kitty Bee Designs bi weekly challenge group Aloha Friday Challenge.

This week’s challenge is an Anything Goes Challenge, with the optional theme of ‘Animals’.  So pull out all your kitties, puppies, bears, bunnies and get crafting!  Cause let’s be real, you know you have a ton of animal stamps.

Today I a playing with the Limited Run digital stamp Birdhouse #2.  I colored the image up with my copic markers, and then fussy cut out the image and set it aside.

I knew I wanted the background to feel organic and yet not overwhelming, so I pulled out a stencil from Elizabeth Craft Designs and my Distress Oxides.  I used some tumble glass and blended the clouds onto some cardstock.  I used the same ECD stencil to blend in the grass using Lucky Charm Distress Oxides.

I also blended some extra green distress oxides onto a scrap of cardstock and then die cut out the grass.  I adhered the die cut with some 3 dimensional pop ups.  Finally, using a sentiment stamp, I added the sentiment using some Versa Clare Ink.
