Oddball Arts Stamps

Oddball Arts is introducing/reintroducing their Design Team of Oddballs today and I am happy to say that I am staying on for another term.  To welcome all the new Oddballs, the team has pulled out some digital stamps and played with them to show who we are and what we do best.

For anyone who is new to this blog, I am known for my coloring so today I have pulled out my colors and created three cards using three different coloring mediums!

EK Gorman, Oddball Art aI colored up IMG166 Ivy Peek a Boo here with my Derwent colored pencils.  To get skin to feel realistic with your pencils you really have to layer many different pencils of varying colors on top of each other.  Here I have used a pale purple, an light brown, a peach, pale peach and cream pencil to create her skin tone.

EK Gorman, Oddball Art bTo finish off this card, I used a notebook die to create that torn paper edge, some Tim Holtz sentiment sticker and some sequins to give it just a bit of sparkle.

EK Gorman, Oddball Art dFor my ‘watercolored’ card using my distressed markers, I pulled out a bit of holiday spirit and colored up the digital image, IMG133 Christmas Baby Elephant with Antlers.  This card with colored with a marker and blended out with a water brush.  Then I added a bunch of Christmas greenery stamps around the sweet elephant.

EK Gorman, Oddball Art eTo finish off this card, I die cut the card with a frame die and then put the card back together onto an A2 frame.

EK Gorman, Oddball Art fFinally I pulled out IMG174 Dancing Girl Hunni and colored her up with my copic markers.

EK Gorman, Oddball Art gI trimmed up the card with a frame die, and then splashed some onto the card, mainly to hid an ink goober that happened and I wanted to mask.

Make sure you go check out all the new design team members.
