Did you see the gorgeous new Microfine Glitter palettes from Elizabeth Craft Designs? They just released 3 collections of five coordinating colored glitters and they are seriously crush worth. Today, I am playing around with the Earth Glitter Palette and the Lake Scene die set.
And yes, if you are wondering…that is all glitter.
Step 1: Cover a 6×6 sheet of Dove Gray Soft Finish Cardstock with Double Side Adhesive sheet.
Step 2: Run the Lake Scene die through a die cutting machine. Do not let the die separate. I quickly added several rows of 10mm Double adhesive to the back and added the die cut to another sheet of 6×6 Dove Gray Soft Finish Cardstock.
Step 3: Pull up the sky and the water reflection barrier of the adhesive. Add Ice Teal Glitter.
Step 4: Pull up the rest of the water, clipping with scissors where needed the adhesive barrier and add Vintage Teal Glitter.
Step 5: Pull up the wood plank and lower mountains adhesive barrier and add copper bronze.
Step 6: Pull up the boar adhesive barrier, leaving the oars and shadows and add Rich Red.
Step 7: Pull up the oars and boat shadows and add moonbeam.
Step 8: Using Leaf Green Microfine glitter (not in the set), coat the trees and boarder of the card.
Step 9: Add moonbeam to the mountain caps.
Step 10: Add focal image to a 12×6 card frame that has been scored and folded and half.
Step 11: Add double side adhesive to some scrap cardstock, Die cut the sentiment using Words 3 Happy Holidays die set.
Step 12: Coat the sentiment in moonbeam microfine glitter.
Step 13: Using Kid’s Choice Glue, adhere the sentiment onto the card.
And there is the final card, in all it’s glitter fashion. I know this is a card for a man, but I feel the colors of the glitter keeps the card masculine.
What color of the the new glitter palette is your favorite… Earth, Beach or Bloom? And thanks for stopping in to see my make an absolute mess with glitter!
Artful!
