It is a new month, so that means that there is a new challenge up over at Oddball Art Stamps.  This month the theme is “Goblins and Fairies and Ghouls: Oh My!”  Awesome.

I pulled out IMG222 Gloomy Guss to create my project with today, and choose to do something a little different with the digital stamp.

I printed the image out on Kraft paper.  Then using simple shades of blue and grey I colored Guss in with my prisma colored pencils.  I LOVE how white pencils turns out on kraft paper, and thing this has that Gloomy feeling that the Ghoul Guss deserves (I am calling Guss a Ghoul and standing by it).

I trimmed up the kraft paper and since the blade of my cutter needs replaced and destroyed the edge of my paper, I went with it and distressed it even more.  Backing the card with black, I call the card finished!
