Hello Crafty Friends. I am coming in today to show off a card I made using Evaney’s Stamp Designs holiday stamp set Christmas Celebration.
The funny thing about this stamp set, is that while it may have some reindeer images within it, the set is so diverse and can be used year round. And I love this scalloped circle stamp, and really feel the need to stick all kinds of images on the inside.
I stamped out the mountains, hills, sun and cloud out in some copic friendly ink and then masked it off.
Using some distress oxides in Antique Linen, I stamped out the dots and crosses (it is suppose to be snow, but I think it frankly just looks cool) over and over again on the card frame. Then using some Frayed burlap and Seedless Preserves blended ink around the card to create the not actually dark, but feels dark darkness.
I added a touch of spectrum noir sparkle pen to the scalloped section of the circle to give it a splash of shine. Then using a little perfect pearls in gold heirloom mixed with water, I added splashes to the back ground of the card. Finally I added a sentiment pulled from ESD’s Galaxy Pals stamp set to finish off the card.
Thanks for peaking in today, and make sure you go check out Evaney’s Stamp Designs.
