Hello Crafty Friends. I am coming in today to share a pictorial tutorial of a new card I made using one of Elizabeth Craft Designs new stamp and die sets, Cacti. I pulled out my markers and gave the card a pretty simple coloring, but one that had a large impact.
To create this card I started by pulling out some White Soft Finished Cardstock 100lbs and stamping repeatedly the three flower stamp in different directions.
Color in the flowers’ centers with Y26 copic marker.
Color the small flowers in with G12.
Color the large flowers with RV63.
Color the medium flowers with V22.
Die cut a panel out using Dashing Circle dies.
Stamp out the three cacti images onto 85lb White Soft Finished Cardstock with Black Memento Ink.
Color the cacti in. I used YG91, YG95, and YG97 for the light colored one, and G24, G94, and G99 for the dark ones.
Color in the Flowers using the same Y26, G20, RV63 and V22. Color the pots using E00, E02, and E04.
Die cut out the Cacti.
Add the cacti to the die cut flower panel with some 3D adhesive squares.
Add 10mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive to the black of the circle panel.
I then created a card frame using some 110lb Neenah cardstock and stamped the strip of flowers in some green Memento ink.
I added the circle panel to the stamped A2 frame card. I also stamped out and die cut the sentiment and an extra flower that I did not color. I adhered both the the card as well!
And there is the finished Cacti card!
