There is a new color challenge up over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown, this week featuring the color brown, red, and cream.
As for myself I went with a little different style card for this one. Instead of my highly colored traditional card, I went with something a little more simple.
I stamped out onto some Bristol Velum paper an Ellen Hutson Essentials sentiment in red Archival ink, and then stamped out the images in some Tree Branch archival ink.
Using my zig clean color markers, I colored in the images, adding some slight shadows.
I trimmed down the image and added a deep red textured cardstock matte, and added both to a brown A2 card frame.
Make certain you check out all the great cards from the Desgin Team, and I can’t wait to see how you used this week’s colors!
Your card looks lovely in this colour scheme. I love how you’ve added shadows and dimension. Hugs, Gill xx
