Happy New Years Everyone!  Welcome back to a new year of getting ready for December and your need of a huge stash of Christmas Cards.

So I know it is only January, but lets get started.

This year Christmas Card Throwdown is going back to a weekly formate, so YEAH!!!  we are known 52 Christmas Card Throwdown again!

Each month we will be providing you with a sketch (week 1 of the month), colour challenge (week 2), theme/recipe challenge (week 3), and stash/technique challenge (week 4).  So since it is the first week of the month/year, we are having a sketch challenge!

I pulled out a new stamp set (not only to me, but a fairly new stamp set for the company too) from Honey Bee Designs.

I stamped out the image onto some watercolor paper and colored in the image using my watercolors (Daniel Smith).

I figured with my first xmas card of the year, I would go ahead and apologize to Santa for all the things I am going to do wrong this year.  The first thing is I need to apologize for is that I have decided this year to stop doing things that upset me, just to keep from upsetting others.  I have tried to stay polite and ‘clean’, keeping things friendly and nice…but after others stopped being friendly and nice back, I have decided to stop worrying if I might offend.  So watch out everyone…I am going a little bit more snarky this year!
