I am so excited to announce that this semester I am going to be working with White Rose Crafts, an online distributor of crafty type things!  They are a new online stamp supply store out of Virginia and have just recently (in the past year) opened their online doors!  They are expanding their catalogue (literally) daily at the moment to bring you all kinds of fun things to create with.

My first project with them today features a sweet little stamp from Lawn Fawn.

Today I am creating a card featuring Stinkin’ Cute mini stamp set.  I tried something a little different today.  Instead of coloring up the image with my markers, I decided to go for a more textured look.

I stamped out the skunk, the sentiment, and all the hearts or oder lines.  Then using my N0, N2, and N4 markers, I added a little shadow under the skunk and some simple shading on the skunks white bits.  Then I added the slightest touch of YR31 to the oder squiggles.

Finally, I pulled out my Nuvo drops in Ebony Black and Strawberry Coulis.  I added the black to the skunk, and the transparent red to the hearts and the inside of the skunk’s ears.  And I absolutely adore that the red cracked on all the red.  It is really cold her, and that is why I think it happened, but it is absolutely the perfect accident.
