Today is a fun day, as the final day of sneak peeks over at Craftin Desert Divas for their December release Event!!! Not only do I get to share a first look at the final new stamp set in the release, but I get to share a look at the stamp set designed for the the 2017 Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop event! Actually, I get to show you a look at the new stamp set and a look at the new digital stamp designed for the Coffee Lovers Event!
First I want to share new digital stamp, Cactus Coffee.
I printed the image out in gray scale and pulled out my copic markers to color in the image! I then grabbed my Distress Oxides in Cracked Pistachio and Vintage Photo and blended in the background!
I stamped out a sentiment from the new Brewed with Love stamp set and die cut the sentiment out with CDDs Mix It Up Dies. The die cut got a little blending with some Vintage Photo and popped up with some 3D Adhesive Squares. Everything got a touch of white gel pen.
I think this cactus is such a happy little guy. Makes me want to go grab a cup of coffee!
The new Brewed with Love stamp set is just perfect for any coffee lover!
When making this card I created a pictorial tutorial of my coloring process! Just scroll down if you want to see the copics I used to created this card.
I stamped out two of the images from the new stamp set and one of the sentiments. Then pulled out a copic friendly black pen and drew in the scene. I figured it made sense to have these guys resting in bed and set upon the nightstand. I also really liked the idea of the sentiment being framed above the bed.
For the nightstand, headboard, and frame I used E31, E33, and E35.
The sheets, pillow and tea cups got colored with E40, ,E41, E42, and E43.
The owl was colored in with E70, E71, E72, and E74.
The raccoon was colored in with C1, C3, C5, C7, and C9.
The duvet, owl’s hat, and scarf were colored in with B32, B12 and B18.
The raccoon’s hat and sweater plus the donut were colored in with RV63, RV66, and RV69. The ears and tongue got a touch of R20.
The owl’s beak got a splash of Y17 while the picture and the slippers were colored in with E30, E31, and E33.
Finally, the wall got colored in with E000, E00 and E02.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the pictorial review of this card. To finish it I die cut it with CDD’s Crazy Stitched Frame Dies and adhered to an A2 card frame.
Make sure you check over at the CDD Blog for a coupon for the new Cactus Coffee.
