It is day two of Craftin Desert Divas sneak peeks for their December Release. Today I get to share one of the two new stamp sets being featured and one of the new die sets! YEAH!!
To feature the new stamp set Sparkle and the new die set Inside Scalloped Octagon Dies, I thought may I would make a little shaker card. I stamped out three of the images from the new die set and colored them up with my copic markers. Then I fussy cut out the images and set them aside.
I then die cut out three small octagons on some cardstock and started the process of building a shaker card. For this one in particular, I had built up the layers of paper so that they were five octagons deep. I added some Pastel Paradise sequins as the shaker bits.
I also die cut a banner from CDD’s Mix It Up Dies. I stamped out a sentiment and colored it in with my copics to create a bit of magical feel to the paper. Using a bit of Scor Tape I adhered the unicorns onto the card. Finally, I die cut out the hearts from the new die set and adhered it to the card stock with a bit of glossy accents.
