First and Foremost, I want to wish anyone in the US reading this, a Happy Thanksgiving.

Second, I want to let anyone reading this know that this year I am thankful for you, people who take the time to read my silly little words and peek at my card designs.  I am still stunned that anyone would be interested in my coloring and humbled by your kind words.

I am coming in today to share another design for Craftin Desert Divas monthly Moodboard Challenge.  All month long all you have to do is load up your design featuring some CDD products and inspired by the moodboard.  There are always some cool prizes for those who participate, so make sure you load your design.  You have until the last day of the month to get yours in, so make sure you don’t delay!

For me, I thought I would go with a Thanksgiving inspired design pulling from the colors in the moodboard.  I pulled out my Timber stamp set and stamped them out using some Memento London Fog.  For some crazy reason, I decided that this design just had to be no line coloring.  I pulled out my copic markers and started going crazy coloring the scene.

I had drew in the background trees and spent extra time flicking green markers to create the grass.  I pulled out the CDD’s Wishful Thoughts sentiment stamps and stamped out in some olive green ink both the ‘wishing you’ and the ‘were here with me’.  Then using my white gelly roll pen I accented both the sentiment and the critters eyes.

Finally, I trimmed up the focal image and adhered it to an A2 card frame with some Scor-Tape.
