I’m back today with not only the next five cards inspired by Tracey Mcneely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags, but also with a few tags I was simply just inspired to make.
Day 11: Today’s tag was inspired by Galina’s cute tag featuring a festive character set back in a hole. I used this unique tag shape from CDD instead of a circle, and this fun snowman from Stampendous instead of an elf. I colored the image in with my copics and added some 3D adhesive squares and finally added a sentiment in some blue archival ink.
Day 12: For this day I was inspired by Samantha’s star shaped tag with the yellow distressing. I followed her example using my seven point star dies and a Honeybee Design stencil to distress my yellow ink. I finally added a festive character from a Stampendous holiday stamp set!
Day 13: I was inspired by Elena’s CAS tag with the plaid base and sweet little rabbit. I added a little more complex plaid and a fun skating bear that I colored with my colored pencils. I finally added a ‘to/from’ from an incredibly old stamp set and added a touch of distressing around the edges of the tag.
Day 14: I was simply enamored with Concord and 9th’s CAS kraft tag with the white snowflakes. I followed the inspiration tag’s example and added a silly little sentiment. I heat embossed some snowflakes on in white, added a stripe of washi tape and a few drops of Nuvo Drops.
Day 15: I found myself completely drawn to Tracey’s distressed ornament tag. I pulled out a circle die and die cut some bristol paper. I heat embossed some clear embossing powder over the sentiment and snowflake impressions and then distressed some Mustard seed, Festive Berries and Salty Ocean distress inks onto the tag.
I was completely inspired to make some of my own tags, and started with a wine bottle tag die cut from a HoneyBee Designs die set and a sentiment from Inkadinkadoo.
And if one wine tag wasn’t enough, I needed more since, lets be honest…how many wine bottles are given out during the holiday’s. The circles and scalloped edge are die cut from a CDD die set and the sentiment and glass are from an Inkadinkadoo set. I colored the glass with my copics and heat embossed the gold lettering!
Finally, I did these two tags for Art Impressions current challenge, a TAG IT challenge. I die cut the plaid card stock with a Honeybee Designs die set and added the sentiment and images from AI’s Southwest Christmas stamp set!
I will be back soon with more tags. Till then…happy crafting!
