Hey Everyone…I’m sneaking in here today to share the 11th card from my 2017 Halloween Series. Today’s card is a quick one, showing that not all cards need to be dipped in water.
Today, I quickly stamped out an image from Art Impressions Howl-oween Set onto some watercolor paper with Archival Ink. Then I pulled out my Zig Clean Color Real Water Color brush pens and added some color to the image. Seriously, it only took me 5 minutes to get the image colored in. Now I will be honest, these markers are still new to me and I am still learning them. There is a bit of a learning curve with these, and I find for me, that if I just use the markers (not water) to blend out my dark colors, it works better.
I trimmed the watercolor paper down and added some black and white check card stock to matte the image. Then I added some simple orange plaid (not Halloween paper I will mention) that seemed to fit. Finally, I added some black Nuvo Crystal Drops to the image.
I will be back Wednesday with a new Halloween card and video, so check back in for more Halloween Goodness. If you want to see a specific color technique, just let me know in the comments below, and I will see what I can do!
