It is release time again at Craftin Desert Divas, and trust me when I say, this one is not to be missed…there are so many cute fall and halloween themed stamp and die sets, plus other great new products.
There are 8 new stamp sets, 2 new dies sets, a brand new stencil and sequin mix, so make sure you tune in all week to see some really amazing sneak peaks from the design team, so head over to CDD’s Facebook Gallery to see all the amazing projects. If you haven’t RSVPed yet, make sure you do that since there are all kinds of cool freebies so make sure you mark going!
I have not just one, not just two, but a whole three different projects today to share with you, so snag some coffee, a soda or a cocktail and settle in to see some sneak peaks of two new stamp sets and one of the new die sets.
Up first is a great halloween themed stamp set called Zombody. But if you are anything like me, then this zombie set can be used any time of year, especially for the boys in your life who like things just a little gory.
I used two of the images from the new set, and one of the sentiments, and colored the images in with my copics. I trimmed up the image and matted it with some black cardstock. I wanted the card to have a bit of a special look about it, so I snagged some brown cardstock and then coated it in crackle medium and let it dry. I love how the paper turned out looking like dried leather or weathered zombie skin!
Next up is a great fall/harvest stamp set called Harvest Happiness, with all kinds of cute little scare crows and harvest themed stamps. I stamped out several of the stamps in set creating a little scene (masking where I needed too) and colored the image in with my copics.
I trimmed up the image and matted it with some brown cardstock. I set that aside and pulled out a piece of watercolor paper and some new (to me) distress oxides. I used Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, and Vintage Photo, smooching the ink into the paper. Then, using the new (I will talk more about in a second) die set Harvest Border Die set, I added the corn border to both the top and bottom of the card.
Finally, I have a project with the new Harvest Border Die. I die cut the three different borders (which include pumpkins, corn stocks, and a spooky house/graveyard border) and layered them on top of each other.
Using Black Soot, Faded Jeans, and Wilted Violet, I smooched in a background onto some watercolor paper, and then heat embossed the word “Boo” using CDD’s Elegant Brush Script alphabet letter stamp set. I added some Glossy Accents to the pumpkin’s eyes and mouth.
All of the new products will be available on September 8th, so make sure you peak back all week to see all the great new products! Hope you enjoyed the peak at the new ones from Today!
