Otterly Lost

release bannerI told you I would be back with lots of new sneak peaks of the Craftin Desert Divas July Release Event.  I know I already showed you a peak of one stamp set today (if you missed it, you can find it here), but I am back again to show not only another new stamp set, but a fun new ocean die set as well.

If you are a fan of ocean critters than the new Ocean Friends stamp set is absolutely for you.  It features all kinds of different ocean animals including these sweet otters that have a sentiment just for them in the set.  I stamped out the otters and colored them in with my copic markers.  I fussy cut out the stamp and set it aside so that I could build a fun ocean theme under the stamp.

I pulled out the new die set Ocean Border Dies and die cut the coral boarder die three times, using textured brown, orange and yellowish paper.  I cut the coral and leaves off the orange and yellowish paper and adhered them to the brown die cut.  I then pulled out a sheet of white card stock and blended two shades of metallic Nuvo mousse on it.  I then die cut the sheet using the ocean wave die from the new die set.  I also die cut out a board of blue textured card stock using the CDD Fancy Frame Dies.

I assembled the card using lots of Scor-Tape and 3D Adhesive Squares for the otters and frame.  I added a couple Pastel Paradise sequins and added the sentiment.
