Day 1 of Christmas Tags

So for the past couple of years I have played around with the annual 25 Days of Christmas Tags put on by Tracey McNelly. Sadly, this year she is taking a break from the event, something I totally understand, but yet am really going to miss. Then it dawned on my I didn’t actually need the event to participate. So today is the first day of my 25 Days of Christmas Tags. Today I am pulling out the new Classic Christmas Special Kit from Elizabeth Craft Designs and creating three very quick and easy tags.

Step One: Die cut the Ornament Trio dies out of a sturdy cardstock. I used some old Red 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock.

Step Two: Die cut two sets of ornament clasps. Paint one set with Gold crackling paste. Adhere to the front of the die cut ornaments with a liquid adhesive.

Step Three: Adhere the second set or ornament clasps to the back of the die cut ornaments to add extra strength to the tag.

Step Four: Heat emboss green embossing powder sentiments onto the die cut ornaments from the Holiday Sparkle sentiment stamps.

Step Five: Add ribbon to the holiday tags.

Let me know in the comments below if you are creating your own tags this holiday season.
