Well it is a new year, and one of my goals this year is to simply play more, take a few things far less series. So today, I am fully playing around with some Elizabeth Craft Design stamps and watercolor just for the fun of it. In fact, I set out of make a bit of a mess.

Step One: Stamp and emboss the sentiment from the Hello stamp set on some watercolor paper. I used a rose gold embossing powder.

Step Two: Using a stamping platform, I stamped poppies over the watercolor paper from the Poppy Dream stamp set.

Step Three: Hand stamp background images from the Words & Layers stamp set.
Step Four: Watercolor the image keeping it loose and messy. I purposely splattered the watercolor onto the paper to keep that loose feeling. I used ECD’s Watercolor Palette to watercolor.
Step Five: Adhere the watercolor paper to an A2 cardframe using 10mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive.
