5 assorted Sparkle Blends from Doodles Paper Playground
And while I know the hop is on Instagram, I wanted to share with you how I created this card, because it was so super easy. I mean. stupid easy.
I started by die cutting a hole into a piece of white cardstock.
I blended ink over the die cut cardstock using Worn Lipstick, Ripe Persimmon and Picked Rasberry Distress Oxide. I also splattered some silver Shimmer Spray.
Onto a A2 card frame I adhered a piece of watercolor paper that had been blended with some Tumbled Glass and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide. I also stamped a heart in teal ink and added a little black heart bits too.
I added the sentiment to the top of the card, and I just love the idea of this sentiment with a light up card.
I tried something new today with my shaker element. I added Doodles Paper Playground shaker bits in I Love the 80s. But instead of just filling the area like normal, I added another piece of acetate behind the sequins. It is flawless! I was able to simply glue the Pear Blossom EZR Light behind the acetate. No muss, no fuss.
I needed a little something more on this card, so I pulled out the Sassy & Crafty Shake It up Baby stamp set and stamped the house and bubbles over the front of the card.
