Quick set of Christmas Cards

So one of my favorite kind of cards to quickly whip up is large sentiment cards. I thought I would try creating a couple of cards with large sentiments, embossing powders, and distress oxides using the Sue Smith’s Snow stamps set from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Step One: Trim a piece of navy blue card stock to 4.25×5.5 inches. Stamp a large sentiment from the Snow stamp set and some VersaMark ink.

Step Two: Add clear embossing powder and heat set.

Step Three: Hand stamp the snowman and snowflakes onto the cardstock and emboss with white embossing powder. Heat set.

Step Four: Blend distress oxides to the cardstock. I used Festive Berries, Aged Mahogany, and Broken China. Spray with a shimmer ink and add splatters in both silver and gold.

Step Five: Die cut the blended cardstock with the Stitched Rounded Rectangle die set. Splattered with just a little Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Spray. Adhere to an A2 card frame using 10mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive.

Step Six: Repeat step one through two, but with black cardstock and a new sentiment from the Snow stamp set.

Step Seven: Repeat step three through four, using the snowflakes and the tree stamp set with green embossing powder. This time I added Rustic Wilderness, Speckled Egg and Faded Jeans and a gold and silver shimmer spray.

Step Eight: Repeat step five, finishing this card.

Let me know in the comments below which of these two cards you like best. Until then, happy crafting.
