Christmas Table Decor

Once my family saw the table display I created for Halloween featuring the Elizabeth Craft Designs critters all dressed up to trick or treat, they immediately started demanding that I create something for Christmas. So today, I am proud to present my Christmas table Decor featuring the ECD holiday die cuts!

This table pieces measures 12x4x1 inch, and I think it is a really stunning and festive piece!

Step One: Using 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock, die cut the new Holiday Elf- His die set.

Step Two: Using alcohol markers, color the pieces of the die cut Holiday Elf- His. I used copics.

Step Three: Using Kids Choice Glue, adhere the die cut pieces to finish the Holiday Elf- His.

Step Four: Repeat Steps 1-3 using the new Holiday Elf- Hers die set.

Step Five: Repeat steps 1-3 using the Santa Clause die set.

Step Six: Repeat steps 1-3 using the trees from the Sleigh die set. I not only used copics on these die sets, but also used Liquid Appliqueo create teh snow effect.

Step Seven: Repeat steps 1-3 using the present and candy canes from the Sleigh die set.

Step Eight: Repeat steps 1-3 using the Santa’s Sleigh die set (this is the other sleigh holiday die set from ECD).

Step Nine: Repeat steps 1-3 using the presents and tree from Santa’s Sleigh die set.

Step Ten: Repeat steps 1-3 using the Reindeer die set.

Step Eleven: Add white, beige and pale blue acrylic paint to a 12x4x1 inch canvas.

Step Twelve: Spread and blend the pain on the canvas. Let dry.

Step Thirteen: Die cut a second Santa’s Sleigh die out of 110lb cardstock. Adhere some of the presents, tree and one of the candy canes to the back of the sleigh. Hot glue the 110lb die cut to the back of the sleigh to make it stronger. Adhere the wreath to the front of the sleigh.

Step Fourteen: Hot glue the sleigh to the back of the canvas. I use hot glue because it dries fast and is very sturdy for this free standing sleigh.

Step Fifteen: Adhere Santa to the back of the canvas. Add one of the trees and presents to the top of the canvas and one of the elves and candy canes to the bottom of the canvas on one side.

Step Sixteen: Add the other tree, elf, present and reindeer to the other side of the canvas. Use the Liquid Applique snow effect on the bottom of the canvas and the feet of the die cuts.

I really thing this is a fun addition to our holiday decoration. It is festive and youthful but still not too juvenile. Let me know in the comments below if you craft your decorations for the holiday seasons.

Until then, happy crafting.
