Hey gang! The whole team over at Elizabeth Craft designs is getting together today to play around with a few florals and flowers. I thought it might be fun to build up a card with different layers of floral images to play along with today’s theme.

Step One: Trim a piece of 110lb Soft Finish Cardstock to 4.25×11, score and fold to make an A2 card frame. Using grey ink, stamp out the background ‘floral’ images from the Words & Layers stamp set.

Step Two: Using both a orange and yellow ink, repeatedly stamp onto the card frame a floral image from Patterns 1 stamp set to complete the background.

Step Three: Stamp a flower image from the A Field of Flowers stamp set onto a piece of watercolor paper using grey ink.

Step Four: Using ECD’s Watercolor Palette, watercolor the image of the flower. I used colors to coordinate with the background stamping colors. Let dry and fussy cut out the image. Using 6mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive, adhere the flower to the card frame.

Step Five: Using stamps from the Words & Layers stamp set, add a sentiment to the card frame using black ink.

Step Six: Using the black ink, outline the edges of the card frame to distress the edges.

Thanks for popping in today and checking out my project. Make sure you pop over to ECD’s Blog to check out all the different floral projects. Until then, happy crafting.
Wow I love this!!!!!
