Elizabeth Craft Designs is celebrating mother’s day today with different crafting projects, and I create a card for my mother to join in on the fun. My mother has three children so I created this floral card with three little bees just for her.
Step One: Stamp the sunflower from the Garden Flowers stamp set onto a trimmed piece of 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock using black ink.
Step Two: Using alcohol markers color in the flowers. I used a combination of copic markers.
Step Three: Using the alcohol markers, color in the background of the cardstock.
Step Four: Stamp three bees from the Patchwork stamp set and color them with alcohol markers. Die cut the bees using the Patchwork die set.
Step Five: Add some Transparent Clear Double Sided Tape to a piece of 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock. Trim the cardstock to 4.25x.5 inches. Peel off the adhesive paper and add Copper Silk Microfine Glitter. Adhere the glittered strip to the cardstock using some 10mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive.
Step Six: Die cut the cardstock using the Stitched Rounded Rectangle.
Step Seven: Adhere the cardstock to an A2 card frame using 10m Clear Double Sided Adhesive.
Step Eight: Using three dimensional tape, adhere the bees to the cardstock.
To all you mother’s out there, happy mother’s day! And of course to my mother, thank you for everything you have always done to lift me up and encourage me.
Let me know how you will be celebrating mother’s day today, or how you will simply celebrating your mother. Until then, happy mother’s day.
Pretty flowers and cute little bees. Thanks
