Did you see that Elizabeth Craft Designs dropped another amazing release from designer Joset van de Burgt. This new die and stamp release is very cool, and has a little bit of the international flare, so make sure you pop over and check out the full new line.
Today I am playing with the new Symbol Background die set, the Bamboo die set and the koi fish from the Asian Accessories die set.
Step One: Die call all the pieces from some 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock, using the Symbol Background, Bamboo and Asian Accessories die sets.
Step Two: Color in the die cuts using some alcohol markers. I used my copics and colored the bamboo in with E30, E33, YG21, YG23, YG25, and YG67. I used Y17, YR68 and YR09 for the koi fish.
Step Three: Die cut some Rust Soft Finish Cardstock using the Stitched Indented Square die set and some Celadon Green Soft Finish Cardstock using the Fitted Indented Square die set. Adhere the two together using some 6mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive.
Step Four: Using some Kids Choice Glue, adhere the Symbol background onto the die cut indented squares.
Step Five: Using some 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive, adhere the bamboo shoots. Don’t be afraid to let them hand over the edges.
Step Six: Trim a piece of Bonnie Blue Soft Finish Cardstock to 6×12 inches and fold and score to create a 6×6 inch card frame. Adhere the stitched indented squares to the card frame. Adhere the koi fish to the card as if is was jumping out of the blue card frame.
Step Seven: Using some green stamping ink, stamp the sentiment from the new Zen Sentiments stamp set onto the card frame. Trim any bits hanging over the card frame with you scissors.
Make sure you pop over and check out all the new dies and stamps. Trust me they are just too cute. Until then, Happy Crafting.
