Distress Oxides ane Embossing Powders

EK Gorman, White Rose Crafts, embossing aDo you ever forget about crafting techniques?  You don’t mean to forget about them, but you sort of fall into a run and simply forget about things…and then you see a post and your like…”Wow, how could I have forgotten!!!”

That’s sort of how I have been feeling about embossing.  Well, embossing and distress inks really.  I sort of forgot all the things you could do with Distress Oxides and embossing powders.  So to make up for my oversight, today I am playing around with this technique.

EK Gorman, White Rose Crafts, embossing bI started this card with some stencil work, using the new Uniquely Ocean Waves stencil, I blended some Faded Jeans, Salty Ocean, and Broken China Distress Oxides into a piece of cardstock.

I trimmed up the cardstock a little and then added some strips of trimmed navy sparkle paper from the Lawn Fawn Sparkle Cardstock in Autumn.
