There is still time to play with the current color challenge over at Cupcake Inspiration Challenge.  This current color challenge focuses on the shades of yellow!

This week I am playing with an image from this challenge’s sponsor, Crafty Sentiments.  I am using the Rain, Rain Go Away digital stamp.

I am not gonna lie, this stamp was a little difficult to color in shades of yellow.  I pulled out my colored pencils hoping that a different medium would help, but I was still struggling.  But once I realized that I could use some golden tones on the owl, the card started designing itself.
