There is a new stash challenge up over at Cupcake Inspiration challenge.  This is a first for the CIC, with what is basically their first interactive card challenge.  The stash we are looking for you to use is a pop up element.  There are lots of different ways for you to join in with this challenge because a pop up element can be so many different things.

For my project today I used a new die set from Elizabeth Craft Dies and the Scissors Spring Mechanism,  a die set that allows you to pop up anything you want on your projects.

I needed a graduation card for a family friend who is graduation high school, and I thought this would be a fun way to celebrate their accomplishment.

The fun thing about this Scissor Spring Mechanism is that is will push flat (ish) and fit nicely in an envelope.  I colored up the Parrot die cut with my copics.

I sprinkled the background with some yellow brusho to create a bit of visual interest in the background.
