Happy Halloween!!!

The big day is finally here and everyone over at Oddball Art wants to wish you the happiest of spookiest of days!  To celebrate the best day of the year, there is a super special Oddball Creepy Cute Chronicles coming out with a extra special digi just for today!!!

I thought it might be fun today to play around with this digital stamp and my distress crayons for a slight different look.

I started by printing the image out on some watercolor paper and then scribbling on three shades of distress crayon in orange (ripe persimmon, carved pumpkin and spice marmalade) to the two outside pumpkins..  Then I used my water brush to blend the colors.

For the middle pumpkin, I used some pine needle, vintage photo and antique linen.  Then I blended it out with my water brush.

For the background I used black soot, chipped sapphire, wilted violet, and dusty concord.  The shadows under the pumpkin were created with black soot and hickory smoke.

Then I matted the focal image with some black cardstock and laid it over a couple of halloween papers.
