There is still time to play with the current color challenge over at Cupcake Inspiration Challenge.  The colors for this very fall color challenge are orange, yellow and brown.

We are sponsored this week by All Dressed Up, who provided the design team with a couple of images to play with.  I am playing with the ultra sweet digi, Sleepy Time.

I colored the digital stamp with my spectrum noir colored pencils, trying to high light the color challenge colors in the sweet little fox.

Then I die cut the image out and laid it over a piece of dry embossed kraft paper.  I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder to create the textured paper, and added a bit of pale yellow ribbon over the top of it.

I laid my image and kraft paper onto some dark brown paper and added a (sad) birthday sentiment that I thought went so well with the sleepy fox.  I did not get the best photo this week, but the sentiment says, “Sorry I missed your birthday!  I feel asleep on the job.”  Finally, I added a couple of orange and yellow crystals to finish off the card.
