It is officially fall, and while I have been working on so many Christmas and winter projects, I want to go back to play around with fall since I feel like I just skipped over it. So today I have come back to fall while using the Patchwork stamp set from Elizabeth Craft Designs.
Step One: Stamp, die cut and color four images from the Patchwork stamp set. I used my Tombow markers to color the images.
Step Two: Cut a piece of Dark Goldenrod cardstock to 5.75×5.75 inches. Stamp in black ink many of the smaller images all over the cardstock.
Step Three: Tape down the entire nesting die set of Garden Notes Frame It Stitched Squares and emboss it onto the stamped cardstock using an embossing pad.
Step Four: Cut a piece of Cafe au Lait Soft Finish Cardstock to 12×6 inches. Score at 6 inches and fold in half to create a 6×6 card frame.
Step Five: Using 10mm Clear Double Sided Tape adhere the Dark Goldenrod paper to the card frame. Then using 3 dimensional tape, adhere the die cut images to the card.
Step Six: Die cut the ‘happy’ sentiment out of the Words 1-celebration die set and die cut the letter to create the word ‘fall’ from the Blackboard Alphabet die set out of Mustard Soft Finish Cardstock. Adhere to the card using Kids Choice Glue. Using your alcohol markers add shadows to one side of the card. I used copic markers W3 and W1.
Maybe this isn’t the most obvious fall card ever, but for me it says warm happy fall! Thanks for peeking in today to see me try and capture a little bit of the change of seasons.
